A pair of these fixtures clamped to a carpenter’s framing or rafter square form a handy gauge for laying out stringers, hip, valley, and other rafter cuts plus many other unusual cuts. Furnished in pairs -- one right-hand and one left-hand. This set of stair gauge fixtures are similar to the larger no. ST-SGF111. except they have a smaller area contact with the square blade. They are convenient, small size and are lower in cost than the longer fixtures.

Made of nickel - plated hexagon steel for strength and resistance to rust.

Brass clamp screw to prevent marring the blade.

Carefully slotted to keep two opposite hex angle faces at right angles to the edge of the square for true work contact and correct alignment with gradations.

Starrett sells two models of stair gage, these are the shorter set. For the longer set see the accessory list below.

Width across flats: 3/4". Slot width: 3/16".
