Learn how to carve and print by hand using linoleum blocks and Flexcut carving tools, following the traditional form of printmaking. The class will explore some of the possibilities of printmaking, such as single and multi-color prints, shading techniques, and tools and equipment. Designs will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own ideas or drawings.
Make Valentine's Day cards, greeting cards, calling cards, business cards with your logo or family crest! Gain a fun skill that you’ll use again and again.
By the end of the session, participants will take home linoleum blocks, printed cards and a new Flexcut Printmaking Set of tools to continue exploring and making prints at home.
