The Roughneck Kangaroo Vest is an excellent way of keeping essential tools and fasteners on your person as you go about your work. The Poly-Cotton blend fabric is slightly more durable than a similar weight cotton fabric, and feels soft to the touch. The four utility pockets are nicely balanced between the front and back, and all have angled tops for easy access to fasteners. The two hanging chest pocket clusters have options for snap shut, and open storage, and can be snapped in place or left to hang free, so bending over won't dump their contents. A safety leash prevents the chest pockets from swinging free and becoming a hazard during a slip or fall.
Compared to the Bantam Kangaroo Vest, the Roughneck vest is slightly more durable at the cost of breathability. The Roughneck Vest also uses a single zipper, as opposed to the Bantam Vests dual-zipper design that allows the Bantam Vest to expand for wear over a jacket.
Blacklader clothing is Designed in Sweden and manufactured in Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Sizing is based off of your chest and waist measurements. Depending on your body shape you may want to preference one over the other. In our experience Blaklader fits true to size based on the assumption that vests are sized for wear over a shirt or thin sweater. Order up one size if you plan on layering or like a more relaxed fit.
