Free Class - Wood Finishing with Lockwood Dyes 1
Back by popular demand! Staining your wood furniture can make it look nicer, match existing pieces, even out its color, make it look like more expensive wood, give it a dramatic new look with bright colors, etc. If you’re curious about dye stains but worried about ruining your project, come to this demonstration. W.D. Lockwood is a NYC wood dye company that has been around since 1895, and sells a wide range of oil-based, alcohol-based, and water-based dyes. Take your wood finishing to a new level of creativity with the techniques that Jesse & Herb Schriffin of W. D. Lockwood will show you.

We stock the entire range of W.D. Lockwood dyes here.

Parking is available in front of our shop and under the expressway. The subway (R train to 25th street in Brooklyn) is only 3 1/2 blocks away.

You don't have to register but please add a comment here so we can get an idea of the number of people who are planning to come.

Instructors: Jesse Schiffrin  & Herb Schiffrin, owners of W.D. Lockwood & Co.

I will try and make it tomorrow. Would it be okay if I brought a few pieces of walnut to see how it would look?
