|Like most people, we spend lots of time (way too much time) surfing the web, entranced by various videos. In Video Roundup, we offer some videos from all over the world that we found especially intriguing.|
This week’s selections are two woodturning videos from Frank Howarth. In the first, Frank's challenge to turn a perfect sphere results in an eyeball, with an iris made of cherry, birch, and walnut in a fine segmented ring; a pupil made from a piece of ebony; and sclera from maple in 10 segmented rings. In the second, Frank turns his score of some big pieces of plum wood into a live edge bowl.
