For Spring/Summer 2014 Engineered Garments have produced a lighter version of their plaid work shirt for the (anxiously awaited) warmer months ahead. This light-weight button down shirt has a lot of little extra features that add up to a great wearing, long lasting piece of clothing.
We like Engineered Garments because of the small details they include in their clothing. Compared to the Fall/Winter work shirt, the summer shirts are more breathable and lighter. Which is not to say that the shirt will fall to pieces in heavy use. The yolk is triple stitched, as are the side seams, which terminate in a solid gusset. The elbows have a second layer of fabric on the inside, which like the semi-secret pencil/pen holder sewn into the breast pocket doesn’t call attention to itself. It's details like that, who’s understatement, adds to the overall feeling of quality without pretense.
Engineered Garments clothing is designed and sewn in the USA.
100% Cotton - Machine Wash - Hang Dry
Note: Altered or laundered clothing is not returnable.
