If your day doesn't include a wardrobe change between client meetings and time in the workshop, you're going to need a pair of pants that can keep up with both. Engineered Garments Fatigue Pants are tailored to allow comfortable motion and a handsome silhouette. They feature smart details that are functional and good looking, so you can perform at your best while closing a deal with a client, or installing a set of cabinets.
Front and back pockets are generous, and well placed so they lay nice and flat but won't dump your keys as you pick up a dropped nail. The flaps over the back pocket keep out dust but we like them because the look good.
For Fall Winter '14 we've carrying EG Fatigue pants in two great fabrics: 10 oz Organic Brown Canvas, and Un-Dyed (Natural) Cone Mills Denim - both durable and hard wearing fabrics will only get better with time.
10oz organic cotton canvas is breathable, and tough without being heavy. Perfect for late summer evenings, and the changing weather of fall. The sturdy organic canvas is durable but isn't coarse. Pair with an EG 19th Century Button for a refined look that isn't fancy.
Cone Denim from North Carolina, is some of the most sought after denim in the world. The expertise of Cone's weavers, and the history of their machinery, produce a durable and beautiful cloth unlike any other. The combination of Natural Cone Denim and the classic EG Fatigue Pants has favorite pants ever written all over it.
Engineered Garments clothing is designed and sewn in the USA.
Note: Altered or laundered clothing is not returnable.
I(Joel) normally wear a 38" pair of pants and a large sized shirt. American mass market clothing, is cut large because over the years companies have eliminated seams and shaping to save money, and that means we need the larger sizes so the clothes are comfortable.
Right now I (Joel) am wearing a size 36" Engineered Garments pair of pants. They fit perfect. The fit is close without being tight. Of course the reason is that with very high end American clothing, like Engineered Garments, the expensive forming, multiple seams, and shaping mean that a smaller size doesn't feel tight - it feels right. And the number of people who have told me that the pants look great on me isn't small. The pants all come in one length. I am 5-10" and I needed to have them shortened.
Ben who is much skinnier (and younger than I) finds the sizing spot on and wears his regular size. He is 6' 1" and did not need to shorten them.
I understand that depending on your body type you may or may not fit into Engineered Garments clothing. That's life, but if you what some really nice clothes, order a size smaller than you might normally or better yet give us a call and let's discuss it.
